A global Service Provider offers Telecom and IT services in over 10 countries. They started adopting Kubernetes for some of their internal and partner applications, and are now exploring using it for their core business function - telecom services provided via Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) delivered from multiple vendors. The stakes were raised significantly, and they sought out a partner with real-world experience that could ensure security, reliability, and scale of Containers running on distributed Kubernetes clusters.
Security and compliance are key considerations for the provider, with their operations spread across multiple jurisdictions. Their clusters, apps, and data need to be geographically dispersed for resiliency while keeping in mind data residency considerations.
